solo walks

One on one walks with just me and your dog(s), from your front door! These walks can be either 30 mins or a full hour, depending on what you require. I do both weekly and sporadic solo walks.

I am confident in walking any dog, regardless of whether they're reactive, on or off lead, muzzled, nervous, rescues, seniors or puppies, and any other quirks they may have! I am extremely experienced walking a wide array of dogs, many of whom are reactive and not dog friendly. At Bernie's Buddies all dogs are welcome for solo walks and all pay the same price.

Before starting the solo walks it's good to do a meet and greet so I can meet your dog and we can both decide if it's a good fit- this meet will be free! I will get all of the information I need about your dog and house (for pick ups and drop offs), and you can ask any questions you might have.

I will usually pick your dog up and walk them for an hour from your house, these walks will include a lot of mentally and physically stimulating activities catered to your dogs preferences! If you are interested in having solo walks in other locations than around your house, please reach out and we can discuss the possibility of me doing the pick up in the car and taking them somewhere further out, which does have an extra charge (see here).

I will send you photos of your pup on the walks and will update you when I arrive and leave (if you aren't at home). I will only send messages during the walk if there is something urgent I need to contact you about, so expect updates after the walk!

I have tags with my name and number on which I put on all dogs I walk. I only walk dogs at places I know well, or which you have directed me to. I have a deep understanding of dog behaviour, so if your dog is seeming uncomfortable with anything on a walk I will remove them from that situation immediately.
